Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, May 25, 1994 
Catherine Elaine Lambert, 69, of the 2700 block of Hollister Ave., owner of
Lambert's Upholstery, died May 22, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Lambert was born in Norfolk and was retired after 22 years. She was a
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church; Willing Workers Club; Senior Usher Board;
past Pastor's Aide member; Missionary; past Senior Choir member; and member of
the Trustee Board. She was named Woman of the Year, 1988, for outstanding and
dedicated service by the Willing Workers.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Oliver Lambert Sr.; one daughter, Catherine
Elaine Jones of Hampton; two sons, Carl Oliver Lambert Jr. of Chesapeake and
Ronald Steffon Lambert of Norfolk; two sisters, Laura Mae Hassell and Lillie
Cheatham, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Walter Dodson of Norfolk and Warner
Dodson Jr. of Mount Airy, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren, Carla Lambert, Toya Jones,
Regina Lambert, Carl Lambert III, Erica Jones, Stephanie Lambert, Naquita
Lambert, Tamika Lambert, Ashley Lambert and Daquon Lambert. Mrs. Lambert also
leaves behind a very special friend, Rose Little.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Bethlehem Baptist Church, Norfolk,
by the Rev. C.M. Heidleberg. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Hale
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
