Doris Fields Ward Lambert, 89, died Sept. 11, 1992.

Mrs. Lambert was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Hillary Lambert and was 
a member of Hyde Park Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley W. Eley of Pinehurst, N.C.; two sons, Roy 
V. Ward and William R. Ward, both of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren and 13 
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Smith & Williams Funeral 
Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Terry Beck. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery . Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral 
home. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
