Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 11, 1939

Miss Martha Virginia Lambert, aged 43, daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mrs. 
Mary Hyslop Lambert, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at a local 
hospital yesterday morning. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Margaret Lambert 
Hall; a brother, Thomas H. Lambert, and a niece, Barbara Lambert, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, Thirty-
fifth Street at Colonial Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. H.S. 
Hardcastle, pastor of the Christian Temple, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
