Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday April 1, 1943
Mrs. Marie White Land, aged 63, wife of W. Hank Land, died at the residence, 
Princess Anne County, Tuesday night at 11:55 o'clock after a long illness.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Edgar Land; three sisters, Mrs. 
Florence King, Mrs. Edison B. Vail and Mrs. James E. Fantone, all of Norfolk; a 
brother, Paul L. White, of Princess Anne County and a number of nieces and 
nephews.  Mrs. Land was a charter member of the Virginia Beach Baptist Church.  
She was well known in the county and took an active part in religious and civic 
affairs.  
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home this 
afternoon at 4 o'clock.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
