Virginian-Pilot September 3, 1959
NORFOLK - George William Land, husband of Mrs. Eileen East Land, and son of the 
late William J., and Mrs. Margaret Bunting Land, a native and former resident of 
Norfolk, died Tuesday at 11 p.m., at his resdence in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
Besides his wife, of Bryn Mawr, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph 
Faltermayer, of Annapolis, Md.
The body will be brought to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, where services 
will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. J. Stuart Wake, pastor of the First 
Christian Church (Disciples). Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
