VIRGINIA BEACH - Katherine Duke Land, 76, of 4142 Bonney Road, a native of Norfolk 
and the widow of James Caleb Land, died Saturday in a nursing home.
She was a Protestant.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine L. Abbott of Virginia Beach; six 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. James L. Duley. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, 744 Yorkshire Drive, Virginia 
Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
