Virginian-Pilot June 1, 1973
NORFOLK — St. Elmo Land, 63, of 2318 Alder St., retired 39-year employee of 
Virginia Electric Power Co., died Thursday at 9:15 a.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a son of Walter R. and Mrs. Hattie Saunders 
Land.
He was a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Roy Arnold, and a brother, John H. Land, both of 
Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive, by the Rev. J. Hoge Smith of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
