Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch April 19, 1929
Walter Ratlee (sic) Land, aged 47 years, died at 2:40 o'clock this morning at the 
residence, 828 Clay avenue. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hattie Land; four 
sons, Elliott, Willie, Elmer and John Land; a daughter, Miss Mary Land; a sister, 
Mrs. J. B. Richardson; a brother, J. H. Land, and his mother, Mrs. Ella Land.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence. 
Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
