About 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Mr. William Land, a native of Princess Anne county, but, who for a number of years past resided in this city, dropped dead in the store of Messrs. Malbon & Turner, corner Church and Bute street. The deceased was about 45 years of age and died of heart disease. He was at one time in business for himself, but more recently had been a clerk for Mr. W. A. Shipp. FUNERAL OF MR. LAND. The obsequies of Mr. William A. Land, who departed this life suddenly Friday morning, will be held from the Queen Street M. E. Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Samuel C.
