Sam Land of 1747 Greenleaf drive, died July 12 at his home following a short
illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. July 18 at Mt. Lebanon
Baptist Church with the Rev. H. W. B. Walker officiating.

Mr. Land was a native of Norfolk and a member of the Sons of Norfolk, and the
Norfolk Social and Beneficial Association. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Martha Land; a daughter, Miss Ruth Land; and several cousins. Interment was in
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
