The New Daily Pilot March 24, 1897

The funeral of Mrs. Martha A. Lane, who died yesterday, after an illness of 
ten days of pneumonia, will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from 
Berkley Avenue Baptist Church.  The remains will be interred in Magnolia 
Cemetery.  The deceased was 53 years of age, and had resided here for a 
number of years.  She leaves a husband and four sons to mourn their loss.

The funeral of Mrs. Martha A. Lane, wife of Mr. W.P. Lane, took place 
yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, in 
Berkley.  The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  The deceased was 53 years 
of age, and leaves four sons to mourn her loss.
