Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 22,1958
Funeral services for Willie Lane were conducted recently at Fitchett’s Funeral 
Home.  The Rev. R. Adams officiated and burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Lane died at his home after an illness.  He was a native of New Bern, NC.

He is survived by three brothers, John Lane, Charles Lane, and William P. Lane;  
two sisters, Mrs. Clara Keys, New Bern, NC;  and Mrs. Hattie H. Manning of Ohio 
and several nieces and nephews.
