Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 6, 1962
Final rites were held Wednesday at First Calvary Baptist Church for Mrs. Lucinda 
Lane of 713 Burrus street.  She died Saturday at a Norfolk hospital.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin officiated at the service.  Burial was under direction of 
Graves Funeral Home.  

A native of Plymouth, NC, Mrs. Lane was a member of First Calvary.

Her survivors include a son, Melton Lane;  two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lester and 
Miss Geraldine Lane of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Diaz Lee Johnson of New York;  
14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
