Lane, died early yesterday morning at the family residence, 26 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, after an illness of several months. The deceased was a daughter of Mrs. D.A. Jernigan of South Norfolk and the late Starkey Jernigan and was one of the best known ladies of South Norfolk. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lane is survived by two children, Helen and Emma Thomas Lane and the following brothers and sisters: J.L. Jernigan, Mrs. J.B. White, Mrs. C.E. Forehand, D. Jernigan and Mrs. Iva Roane, all of South Norfolk. The funeral services will be conducted at the South Norfolk Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. W.M. Black, and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
