Virginian-Pilot  March 24, 1933
Robert Warren Langenbach, aged 49, son of the late Herman and Hermine Aufbach 
Langenbach, died at 6:10 o’clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Mr. 
Langenbach was a native of Germany and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 
29 years. He was a veteran of the World War, having served with the Twenty-ninth 
Division, A.E.F. Besides his wife, Mrs. Katie Lazzari Langenbach, he is survived 
by two daughters, Mrs. Donald Hos and Miss Alice Langenbach, and one son, Robert 
W. Langenbach, Jr., all of Norfolk; three brothers and one sister of Germany. The 
body will be taken from the residence, 1604 Llewellyn avenue, to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
