NORFOLK - Mary Lou Langhorne, 64, of 1118 Leigh St., a native of Portsmouth, 
died Friday in a hospital.
Ms. Langhorne had retired from Old Dominion University as an assistant professor 
of library science after 23 years. She was a graduate of Salem College and 
Catholic University. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Maurice B. Langhorne Jr. of Matthews, Va., and 
William T. Langhorne of Norfolk.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Vincent Connery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Infant Home, the American 
Cancer Society or the American Heart Fund.
