Langley of 1344 Bolton St., died Sunday at her home after short illness. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mrs. Amanda Jordan and widow of Arthur W. Langley. A native of Eastville, she had lived in Norfolk 46 years. She was a member of the Good Samaritans of Eastville and St. John A.M.E. Church in Norfolk, where she served in the senior choir more than 30 years. Surviving are two sons, George Langley of Norfolk and Bernard Langley of Freeport, Long Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Wilhemina L. Shelton of Hemstead, Long Island, N.Y., and Miss Mabel Langley of Unionville, Long Island, N.Y.; three sisters, Miss Grace Jordan, Miss Ellen Jordan and Miss Maria Jordan, all of Philadelphia; three brothers, James Jordan of Cape Charles, David Jordan and Isaiah Jordan of New York City, and eight grandchildren. The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at St. John A.M.E. Church Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W.L. Hildebrand, pastor. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
