The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, December 26, 1978

NORFOLK - Walter R. Langley of 421 W. 31st St., Apt. 5, a native of Princess Anne
County and the husband of Mrs. Inez Langley, died Sunday in his home.

He was a security guard at Joe Decker Salvage Yard for two years.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Reed of Norfolk and Miss Brenda
D. Pittman of Chesapeake; four sisters, Mrs. Beulah McPherson of Virginia Beach,
Mrs. Catherine Hudgins of Norfolk, and Mrs. Annie Mae Davis and Mrs. Carrie Walker
of Baltimore; three brothers, Winfred Langley and Allen Langley of Chesapeake, and
Levi Langley of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Hale Funeral Parlor by the Rev.
Clifton L. Wilson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
