Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch July 2, 1948
Miss Annie Louise Langley, 76, member of a well known Norfolk family, died at 
the residence, 611 Raleigh Avenue, today at 2:30 a.m.
She was a native of Norfolk and had resided here throughout her life. She was a 
daughter of the late Charles Henry and Mrs. Portia Deming Langley.
Surviving her are on sister, Mrs. Edward P. Crockett, of Norfolk; three nieces, 
Mrs. Randolph Currin, of Richmond; Mrs. David Meade Peebles, of Washington, 
D.C., and Mrs. Dey Moore, of Norfolk, and one nephew, Edward P. Crockett, Jr., 
of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday at 12 o'clock noon, with 
the Rev. John H. Pearson, D.D., pastor of Ghent Methodist Church, of which Miss 
Langley was a member, officiating. Interment will be private in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
