Mrs. Jessie Langley, of 813 East Berkley avenue, died July 10 at her home 
following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 14 at New Hope 
Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. C. E. Upton, pastor officiating.

Mrs. Langley is survived by her husband, Connie Langley; three sons, William 
Haney, Malvin Lee, and Connie Langley, Jr.; two brothers, Samuel and Zack Pippin 
of Norfolk; and two uncles.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman’s Funeral Home in charge.
