Final rites for Mrs. Maggie Langley, aged resident of 726 Lexington St. who died 
on August 16, were observed Sunday afternoon at St. John A.M.E. Church with Rev. 
J. A. Young,pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Langley, one of the city’s pioneer residents, was the widow of the late 
Richard Langley and a sister of Captain George Elliott and Miss Lottie Elliott, 
who survive her, in addition to many other relatives and friends.  Interment was 
in West Point Cemetery.
