Marie Elizabeth Annunziata Langlois, 79, died peacefully in her home after a brief 
battle with cancer. Mrs. Langlois, born and raised in Norfolk to the late Frank 
and Lillian Bisese Annunziata, had lived the last 49 years in Virginia Beach. She 
was predeceased by her brothers and sister, Samuel Annunziata, Pasquale (Bootie) 
Annunziata and Camella Schaffer, and her son-in-law, Brian J. Sherry.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John Riggs (Jack) Langlois Sr.; 
her six daughters and their husbands, Camella and Steve Pulliam, Teresa and Roland 
Davis, Kathy and Wayne Danner, Paulette and Jamie Culp, Annette Sherry, and 
Christine and Tom Santoni; and her son, John Riggs Langlois Jr. She is also 
survived by her 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A Christian wake will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Drive, 
Norfolk, today beginning with the viewing at 6 p.m., followed by the rosary at 
6:30 p.m. led by Sister M. Renee Murphy, I.H.M. A Mass of the Resurrection will be 
conducted by the Rev. Msgr. Francis Muench at 7 p.m. in the church, immediately 
followed by a reception in the parish hall.

Interment will follow Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, 
officiated by Father Jesse Enciso. Memorial donations may be made to St. Pius X 
Catholic School. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
