Virginian-Pilot June 7, 1986
NORFOLK — Joseph Raymond "Bud" Langston, 77, of the 1400 block of Ashland 
Circle, a retired machinist, died June 5, 1986. in a hospital.
Mr. Langston, a Philadelphia native. had retired from De-Laval Steam Turbine Co. 
He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Machinists' Union, both 
in Trenton, NJ.
Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Eyler of Norfolk; two sisters, Florence 
Flynn and Mary Conklin, both of Miami; eight grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Thomas L. Long. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home.
