Virginian-Pilot February 23, 1900
Mr. Henry Lantrip died at his home, No. 139 Charles street, yesterday morning from 
injuries received by falling from a two-story building in Berkley, on which he was 
at work, about one week ago. Relatives of the deceased from Manchester were with 
him during his last hours on earth. He is survived by a widow and two children. 
The deceased was a native of Richmond but had been a resident of the ward for some 
time. His sister arrived here from Richmond yesterday morning. The funeral will 
take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from McKendree M. E. Church and will be 
attended by Vandali Lodge No. 44, I.O.O.F. and Norfolk Council No. 21, Jr. 
O.U.A.M.
