Altmeyer Funeral Home January 2023
Robert Peter LaPointe, 82, passed away on December 30, 2022, at the Commonwealth 
Senior Living & Leigh Hall of Norfolk, VA.
He was born on June 16, 1940, to Joseph and Marion (Mulrennan) LaPointe, in New 
York.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. LaPointe, and his mother, 
Marion LaPointe.
Robert is survived by his brother, Laurence LaPointe of Port Jefferson, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 11:00 am at the 
Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, is handling the arrangements for the
