John Jerome Larkin, Sr., 57, son of the late John Thomas and Mrs. Mary E. 
Larkin, a native of Baltimore and a resident of this section for 35 years, died 
at the residence, 1239 East Ocean View Avenue, yesterday at 3 p.m. An employee 
of the Powell-McClellan Lumber Company, Inc., he was a member of Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, and the Holy Name Society of that church. He was a 
veteran of World War II.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rita Fowlkes, of Norfolk; one son, John J. 
Larkin, Jr., of Toronto, Canada; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Alma 
Cash and Mrs. Isabelle Burdette, both of Baltimore.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

John Jerome Larkin, Sr. - The body of Mr. Larkin, who died Wednesday, will be 
taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, for funeral services tomorrow at 9 a. m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 8:30 o’clock.
