NORFOLK - John B. Lascara, 78, of 823 Shirley Ave., a native of Norfolk who 
lived here all his life, died Sunday in a hospital. 
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 
367, and Elks Lodge 38.
Survivors include three nephews, Anthony J. Lascara of Norfolk, Adm. Vincent A. 
Lascara of Washington, D.C., and Vincent E. Lascara of Portsmouth.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be said Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A rosary will be 
recited tonight at 7 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. The family will 
be at 9600 Wills Parkway, Norfolk.
