Virginian-Pilot January 15 & 17, 1931
Mrs. Maria Catherine Lascara, aged 69, a native of Italy, and resident of 
Norfolk for the past 50 years, died at her residence, 729 Park avenue, yesterday 
at 5:30 p. m.
She was the widow of Vincent Lascara and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. 
Caleo, Mrs. Frank Coppola and Miss Cecelia Lascara; five sons, J., F. W., D. P., 
J. B. and V. E. Lascara; one sister, Mrs. Caroline Pennello; 15 grandchildren 
and 14 great-grandchildren, all of Norfolk. Funeral arrangements had not been 
completed last night.

Mrs. Maria Catherine Lascara - Funeral services for Mrs. Lascara, widow of 
Vincent Lascara, whose death occurred Wednesday at the residence, 729 Park 
avenue, will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church this morning at 10 o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
