NORFOLK - James Matthew Lashley, 74, of 884 E. Olney Road, Calvert Park, died 
Wednesday in a hospital. He was a native of Norfolk and the widower of Hattie 
Lashley.

He was a retired, 25-year employee of Sheller-Globe Corp, and was a veteran of 
World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Gladys V. Parham, and a stepson, William Lashley, 
both of Norfolk; a sister, Viola Caldwell of Baltimore; six grandchildren; and 
four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Jones Funeral Home Chapel 
by the Rev. C.A. Councill. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will 
be at the home of Eunice McKoy of 884 E. Olney Road.
