Norfolk Journal and Guide,Dec 28,1935
James Lassiter, 35, of 610 E. Bute Street, died in a local hospital, on 
Thursday, December 19. The funeral was held from Queen Street Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. P. P. Eaton officiating. His widow, Mrs. Helen Lassiter, 
survives him.
