Lassiter, aged 67, widow of George Walter Lassiter, and daughter of the late Samuel Kingston and Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Blankenship, a native of Galveston, Texas, and a resident of this section for the past 46 years, died at the Mary F. Ballentine Home, last night at 7:11 o'clock. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roy Dozier, of Norfolk, and three grandchildren, Roy Dozier, Jr. U.S.N., and William and Robert Dozier, both of Norfolk. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, pending arrangements. ********************** Mrs. Hattie E. Lassiter - Funeral services for Mrs. Lassiter, widow of George Walter Lassiter, who died Tuesday at the Mary F. Ballentine Home, will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. H.H. Martens, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
