Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday February 1, 1946
William S. Lassiter, 77, of 1709 Princeton Avenue, Campostella Heights, died 
in a local hospital yesterday at 4:35 p.m.  A native of Camden County, North 
Carolina; a son of the late James and Apha Eure Lassiter, he had been a 
resident of this section 56 years.  Surviving him are a son, J.W. Lassiter of 
Norfolk and a sister, Mrs. W.A. Sykes, of Scottsville.
The body was taken to the Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk.  Funeral 
services will be conducted in Campostella Heights Church tomorrow at 3 p.m.  
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
