Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 16, 1991

Willie Lassiter of the 1700 block of Melon St., a truck driver, died Nov. 
13, 1991, in a nursing home.
Mr. Lassiter was born in Suffolk. He had been employed with Norfolk Tent & 
Awning Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church Campostella.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Lewis of Baltimore and Diane 
Fleming of Norfolk; two sons, Riney Fleming and Willie Fleming, both of 
Norfolk; a sister, Lucille Tyner, and a brother, Cornelius Lassiter, both of 
Portsmouth.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Family and friends will assemble at 
10:30 a.m. at 2715 Omohundro Ave., Apt. 3, for the procession. Metropolitan 
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
