Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - August 18, 1991

Andrew Lassiter, 52, of the 1300 block of Buck Road, died Aug. 9, 1991, in 
his home.
Mr. Lassiter was born in Hayesville, N.C. He was employed with Interview 
Construction Co. and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Gary Newsome of Norfolk; his parents, Eliiza 
Lassiter and James Mitchell; and a grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. Rufus Jackson. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 
p.m. Monday at the grave site. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in 
Elton Funeral Home.
