Mrs. Lassiter, 48, Widow of Baptist Pastor

NORFOLK - Mrs. Margaret Pauline Lassiter, 48, widow of the Rev. J.Q.A. Lassiter, 
pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, died Monday in her home, 1514 Link St., 
after long illness.

A daughter of the late Joseph and Mrs. Fannie Polson, she was a native of 
Corapeake, N.C. She lived in Norfolk 20 years and was a member of Bethlehem 
Baptist Church and Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church, Corapeake.

Besides her widower, surviving are one sister, Miss Augustine Polson of 
Corapeake; and two brothers, Woodrow Polson and Robert Polson of Suffolk.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 
in Bethlehem Baptist Church Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. J.M. Hall, pastor of 
Zion tabernacle Baptist Church, Corapeake. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
