Charles S. Lassiter
The Obsequies of this gentleman, whose untimely demise occurred Monday 
morning, where held from his residence, West Brambleton Avenue, at 5 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon. The officiating minister was Rev. L.R. Christie, of 
Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: Dempsy Watkins, L.O. Ayers, Ben 
Reynolds, Walter Griggs, Walter Womble and C.B. Cake.
