Chesapeake - Mrs. Annie E. Lassiter of 2812 Garrett St., the widow of Andrew 
Lassiter, died May 25 in a New York hospital. 

A native of Princess Anne County, she was a member of New Calvary Baptist 
Church, Daughters of Elks Temple 1A, and Senior Citizens Club of Jamaica, Long 
Island, NY.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen Turner of New York, Mrs. Ola Mae 
Granville of Jamaica, NY., and Mrs. Mabel Towns of Chesapeake.

A funeral service was held May 31 in New Calvary Baptist Church by Dr. Milton A. 
Reid. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, in 
charge.
