Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Lassiter, the former Miss Lucy Jones, 
daughter of Mrs. Sarah White of 551 East Brambleton avenue, were held June 29 at 
Second Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. C. J. Williams officiating. Mrs. 
Lassiter, wife of Hughes Lassiter, now stationed in the South Pacific, died June 
24, Mrs. Hattie Jones was heard in a solo rendition at the rites.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Benjamin White.

Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery with the Morning Glory Funeral Home in 
charge.
