Virginian-Pilot  April 15, 1914
Frank Warren Lathrop died at 6:30 yesterday morning at the family residence, 916 
Holt street. He was 41 years old. Mr. Lathrop was a native of New York state, but 
had resided in Norfolk 35 years and was well known and esteemed. He was formerly a 
bookkeeper at the Marine Bank, but more recently was a clerk with the Consumers 
Brewing Company. He is survived by his wife, three children and three brothers, 
Lawrence A. and George S. Lathrop, both of Norfolk, and John M. Lathrop of New 
York City. Mr. Lathrop was a member of Norfolk Lodge of Elks.
The funeral will take place at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning at St. Mary’s Catholic 
church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
