Virginian-Pilot  December 19, 1958
NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary McHugh Lathrop, 88, widow of George S. Lathrop and daughter 
of William P. and Mrs. Mary Dimond McHugh, died at a Norfolk hospital Thursday 
at 2:50 p.m.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Merrick I. Campbell; two granddaughters, 
Misses Jane Campbell and Ann Campbell, all of Norfolk, and several nieces and 
nephews.	1
Mrs. Lathrop was a native of  Philadelphia, Pa., and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 57 years, residing at 7300 Colony Point Rd.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church, of which she was a member, for funeral services Saturday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
