Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 31, 1930

George Stuart Lathrop, aged 61, died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the 
residence, 716 Raleigh Avenue. He was a native of Yonkers, N.Y., but had been a 
well known resident of Norfolk for 54 years. He was for many years connected 
with the Norfolk National Bank. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary P. Lathrop, he is 
survived by one daughter, Miss Marion D. Lathrop, of Norfolk and two brothers, 
Lawrence W. Lathrop, of Norfolk and John M. Lathrop, of New York. Funeral 
services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, tomorrow morning at 9 
o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

July 30th, 1930, at 12:30 o’clock a.m., GEORGE STUART LATHROP, age 61 years.
Funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church FRIDAY MORNING at 9 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
