Virginian-Pilot June 6, 1975
NORFOLK - Mrs. Margaret R. Laurent, 63, of 8447 Friden St., the widow of Edison 
S. Laurent and a native of Anniston, Ala., died Thursday in a hospital.
She lived here 35 years and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Anna Marie Laurent, and a brother, Gordon W. 
Reaves, both of Norfolk; and two half-brothers, James Vincent of Citrenelle, 
Ala., and Frank H. Reaces of Anniston, Ala.
A Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 in Twiford Funeral Chapel, Colley 
Avenue. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X 
Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The body will be taken from 
the funeral chapel to the church.
