Born on January 8, 1928 in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bruce Foshee and Ella Penn Foshee. She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Edith and A.L. Wadkins. Always a devoted wife and mother, Eleanor also managed to find time for volunteer work. She actively volunteered for many years at Virginia Beach schools and hospitals. She passionately supported various animal humane societies, most recently the Humane Society of Grand Bahama during the years she lived in Freeport, Bahamas. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 66 years, William "Bill" Edmunds Law, III. Survivors also include her four sons and their wives W. Bruce and Janet Law, Michael and Constance Law, Gregory and Jane Law, and Kelly and Karen Law, as well as twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will celebrate Eleanor's life at a private family gathering. All final arrangements were handled through Holloman-Brown Funeral Home in Virginia Beach.
