Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, August 23, 2003 
NORFOLK - Audrey Stone Lawe, 69, of the 1500 block of Spruce St., passed away
after a lengthy illness Aug. 20, 2003 in Norfolk.

A native of Norfolk, she was a nurses aide and a cosmetologist. She was a member
of First Baptist of Lamberts Point, Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Lawe; four daughters, Janet Feathers
(Gary), Sharon Lawe, Rosalind Lawe and Toni Lawe; two sons, Clarence E. Lawe and
Stephen Lawe (Kaye); her parents, Maude B. Stone and Lennie E. Stone Sr.; a
sister, Alice Stone; three brothers, Lennie Stone Jr., Horace E. Stone Sr., Esq.
(Clariese) and Dr. Clarence L. Stone Sr. (Oretha); 14 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; and two adopted sons, Hezikah Coley and Ronnie Ore. She was
predeceased by a sister, Claudine Young; and a brother, Ernest Stone.

A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Hale Funeral Home by Anthony Person
with burial in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be held Monday from noon to 8 p.m.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
