The Virginian Pilot Sunday November 13, 1966
Mrs. Lillian Jarvis Lawing, 83, of Granby St. died Saturday in her home.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of William R. and Mrs. Almedia Casey 
Jarvis and the widow of John B. Lawing.
She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and a member of Pickett-
Buchanan Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments where a funeral service 
will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Ruggles.  Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
