Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 18, 1954

Clarence Smith Lawler, 50, son of Frank J. Lawler and the late Mrs. Addie Carter 
Lawler, a native of Norfolk, died yesterday at 2:05 p.m., at New York City, 
where he had resided for the past several years.
Besides his father, Frank J. Lawler, he is survived by one brother, Frank P. 
Lawler, both of Norfolk.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments.

LAWLER, CLARENCE SMITH – At New York, New York, Saturday, April 17, 1954, at 
2:05 p.m., CLARENCE SMITH LAWLER, son of Frank J. Lawler and the late Mrs. Addie 
Carter Lawler, age 50 years. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 
services TUESDAY MORNING at 9:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to 
attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
