Norfolk Ledger Dispatch  May 1, 1914

Robert F. Lawler, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Lawler, 1118 Virginia 
Street, died at St. Vincent's Hospital at 6 o'clock last night after an illness 
of one week. He was 28 years old. Mr. Lawler was a member of the Ancient Order 
of Hibernians and of the Bartenders' International League and was well known. 
Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sy Morris of 
Washington, D.C. and the Misses Cecilia and Lavinia Lawler of Norfolk and two 
brothers, John P. and James R. Lawler, both of Norfolk.
The funeral occurs at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment in 
St. Mary's Cemetery

LAWLER - At St. Vincent’s Hospital, on Thursday, April 30, 1914, at 6 o’clock 
p.m., ROBERT F., JR., son of Robert F. and Virginia Lawler, in the 29th year of 
his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No. 1118 Virginia Street, to St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Robert F. Lawler, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Lawler, 1118 
Virginia Street, will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 3 o'clock 
tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
