Donovan Lawler, died yesterday afternoon at 1:20 o’clock at a Norfolk hospital. He was a brother of Dr. Emmet J. Lawler, Norfolk dentist, who died July 14. Mr. Lawler was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 901 Spotswood Avenue at the time of his death. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of that church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mabel Runaldue Lawler, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. M. Yerby, of Norfolk; three sons, Sergt. John F. Lawler, Jr., U.S. Army, Webster R. Lawler, U.S. Army, and Lieut. Lee F. Lawler, USAF; two grandchildren, Charles M. Yerby, III, and John Lawler Yerby, both of Norfolk; a sister, Miss Nora T. Lawler, of Norfolk, and two brothers, City Sergt. Lee F. Lawler, of Norfolk, and Vincent J. Lawler, of Baltimore. The body will be taken from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, tonight at 8 o’clock.
