Lawler were held at 10 o'clock this morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Rev. R. E. Hannon officiating. Rev. E. A. Brosnan, Rev. A. J. Taylor, Rev. M. J. Hartigan, Rev. Leo J. Ryan, Rev. R. B. Kealey, Rev. P. P. Brennan, Rev. Phillip Blackburn and Rev. Robert Schickling, C.M., were present. During the service, a solo was sung by Mrs. S. A. Sutton. Interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pallbearers were A. P. Pannill, M. J. Murphy, James E. Prince, S. J. O’Connor, W. W. Lee, W. L. Prieur, H. D. Oliver and Willoughby J. Butt. Mrs. Lawler, aged 69 years, wife of John F. Lawler, died Saturday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock at the residence, 1028 Spotswood avenue. Besides her husband, Mrs. Lawler is survived by four sons and one daughter and 11 grandchildren. The sons are John F. Lawler, Jr., Lee F. Lawler, Dr. Emmet J. Lawler and Vincent J. Lawler, all of Norfolk. The daughter is Miss Nora T. Lawler, also of this city.
