Virginian-Pilot  May 5, 1931
Thomas Fenton Lawler, age 28, son of Mrs. Marie Hickey Lawler, died at her 
residence, 1005 Jamestown Crescent, last night at 7:10 o’clock. Mr. Lawler was a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Besides his mother he is survived by one 
sister, Miss Nancy Lawler, and one brother, J. Weston Lawler. Funeral services 
will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
